To enter the gameTo enter the game, the following conditions must be met:1) The player should have a moderate knowledge of English. Understanding the preceding sentence would be a good start. 2) The player must have read the complete basic rules and accept them. 3) The player must live or work in or around Bern for at least 3 days per week. 4) The player must send a request including his name, address and a digitalized photo to the GM. The player must as well choose an alias. Starting the gameAt the start of the game every player will receive an E-mail from the GM with the real name and address and a photo of his assigned targets.The InternetYou will find all the rules, all the weapons and most importantly all the news (new available weapons, salary etc.) on "www.fatamorgana.ch/killer". The assigned targets will be published on the internet so everyone will know what assassin and what target he will be facing, but all the players will only be refered to by their aliases.Reporting to the GMYou have to contact the GM- to report your death. - to report the death of your victim. - if you want to buy a weapon (if you have enough money). You don't have to wait for an answer, the GM will just subtract the appropriate ammount from your salary. - if you want to use a non-authorized weapon. You can only use it after the GM has approved the weapon and told you its price. - if you want to drop out of the game. MoneyEvery player gets $500 at the start of the game. Money can be used in several ways:1) Buying weapons. The GM is the source of all weapons, and each weapon has a fixed cost. (Players taking weapons from downed foes may keep them in this instance, reporting the fact to the GM) 2) Inter-player negotiations. Players may bribe each other for assistance. 3) To hire accomplices ($50) A player gets $100 for each elimination of an assigned target.
